The hard disc on my wife's Dell Inspiron all-in-one needed to be replaced. Battled with the call center for two days before I could register. The call kept fading whether I called from a land phone or from my mobile (Dell service no. 790507354309). Two days later, a technician called from Thrissur, Kerala, to say he's on the way. A few minutes later, he said the order had been cancelled. Said someone would call from Dell. Nothing happened all day. I re-registered all over again as the call center staffer just didn't seem to understand anything. He said a technician would come within 5 days (this after already waiting for two days). I blew my top. Insisted on speaking to the supervisor, who was no better. After I yelled and screamed, they sent a technician the next evening.
