That would explain why even Cox didn't hire me. Fortunately I have 4 years of non Dell IT work to fall back on. Thanks for the info! It is greatly appreciated.

I heard about them changing their name. Doesn't change the fact that they were pure crap. I swear, the majority of my "the onsite technician screwed up my computer" calls were QualxServ techs. I tried to use Unisys as much as possible.

Well I finally left Dell in May because I just couldn't handle it anymore. Dell screwed me out of unemployment for a good 5 months and refused to help me. Thankfully the appeal judge saw through Dell's crap and gave me the money I deserved. The HR lady was so rude and hostile. I wanted to apologize ...

I remember the loud noise issues as well. Honestly I wouldn't even bother with troubleshooting when it came to noises. Here are the error codes that I remember. When it came to hard drives we rarely used the 32-bit diag codes. We mainly went by the 1000-xxxx. The managers didn't say anything about the size of the hard drives. Getting Hard Drive Replaced 0142-0146 will automatically get your hard drive replaced. 0141...

Common, you (not you personally) have to be a dumb ass (literally, as in not know nothing about computers) to follow the DSN. The only time I've checked DSN was to check on nvidia GPU policy to see what systems are covered by extended warranty. Other then policy checking it serves no other purpose ...

Dell I loved, the Customers I hated

I worked for Dell for 8 months and it was one of the better jobs I have had. My boss was great, the pay was good and the people around me were awesome. So why did I quit? The number one reason I resigned are Dell's customers. They were some of the worse people I have ever had to work with and gave m...
