Re: Drug testing?

Um, hypothetically I might coulda got some thuther day from the guy across the alley so I might be more prepared than I'd otherwise let on. It's like toilet paper; a little can be enough while zero definitely isn't so it's preferable to have a stash.

Re: Drug testing?

2005 was the last time I worked there. Today, it's still whatever Fed vendors are required to do. I'm retired so no, I don't know 'exactly' what that is. Let's talk about drugs. Can I get some? Mild skunk if there's a choice. Michoacan, Acapulco Gold, or that stuff that's tied to a stick. Just for m...

Re: Drug testing?

Standard 5-panel in 2005. Just what the fed requires vendors to do, NOT DOT or DOD.

Re: Dell Inspiron 3558 DC Jack

Yes, the depot contractors are just another bunch of lowbidder hosebags like Unisys or the Bangaloreans who answer the phone. Anecdote: As late as 2000 Dell hired their own phone people and they actually KNEW something. A group of senior techs periodically spent days in our lab training. Kinda knew ...

Re: Dell Inspiron 3558 DC Jack

The founders here were all huge fans of Dell, proud of the work we did there, aghast at what uber hosebags they became and remain to this day. For clarity, Dell does not operate or supervise the repair depot contractors. Neither does Dell intercede on customers' behalf when key parts or entire syste...

Re: refund problem~

This is the same crap they were doing 11 years ago when I got here. Concensus seems that they are scavenging a couple bucks interest by holding refunds for 6 weeks. Sounds silly, until we consider how many hundreds of thousand times they do it. Then it's like, reputation schmeputation, anything for ...

Re: Dell Tech Support Scam

This is why we caution not to publish identifying data. It was only a matter of time before malfeasants mined it. And once again a few industrious schmows ruin it for everyone. Dell of course, created this nefarious market by sloughing support off onto the lowest bidder AKA desperados with orders to...

Re: Guess who else's service has gone to dHell

That's why it's all the more alarming that a once-scrupulous company like Panasonic has chosen to follow the Dell model.

Guess who else's service has gone to dHell

dHell is not the only consumer electronics company with service from Hell. Having worked for them at the dealer level, not who I would have expected. Panasonic US. Here's the Yelp page giving them 2 stars. Most reviewers gave them minus 5 in their text. http://www.yelp.com/biz/panasonic-product-rene...

If your state's attorney general is consumer active he can likely straighten this out. Dell already has judgements against them in a majority of states.

Re: Forum fixed!

Log makes a liar out of me, shows spammer deletions in Mar '15. OK, ~1yr. Then nothing until Apr '16. Latest version explains why the formatting is scrambled on FF2. I get a lot of that these days. I'm being dragged kicking/screaming/whining/bitching into the microsoft future. Planned migration to X...

Shows you what I know. It was displaying fine (I check every day) and still accepting new members, but not posting anything. How did it look like it was working but wasn't really?

'Twasn't me, swear. Haven't so much as opened admin CP in ~2 years.

Looks a little askew, eh?
