Re: harrasment in florida

Well now, if what you say is true, then it seems as if someone finally has Mikey's balls in a vise. I say it's about frickin' time. Mechanic, it's up to you and your colleagues to put the hurt to Mikey in a most extreme and unpleasant way. If for nothing else than to repay him for all the "kind...

Re: harrasment in florida

Mechanic: While I'm intrigued at the possibility of a unionised DHell site, the fact remains that they can and WILL shut down the entire site. I was working for DHell when they shut the Oregon site down....all over 2 guys suing them for overtime pay. My advice to you is keep out a keen eye for anyth...

Re: Dell's Collapse No Mystery, Just Simple Marketing Mistak

People don't care about the product, all they care about is the price, right?? Right?? We can make the product cheaper and make the support leaner, and, as long as it's cheap, they won't care, right?? Right?? We can continue to conduct business as usual, screwing everyone as much as we can, and, as ...

Re: Yes they can...

There was a class-action lawsuit filed by two men in Oregon regarding overtime pay back in February, 2007. Come August, DHell closed their Oregon call center down as retaliation. I'm not saying standing up for your rights isn't a good idea, but you can see where it got them. I know one of the guys p...

Re: Just walked away from dell.. where is a good place to tu

I dunno......according to a recent article (I don't remember the URL, else I'd post it) linked from www.dailyrotation.com ....... the only thing worse than an HP was a DHell. I read in the same article that Lenovo was tops in the notebook survey scores and Asus wasn't far behind.

Re: Dell: Back on Track

DHell hasn't ever innovated anything , unless you count streamlining ways to terminate employees and outsource jobs. They've always been a follower , forever chasing Apple. Problem is for DHell is that buyers who are enamoured with Apple-like products aren't about to pour money down the DHell rathol...

Re: Refund reps claim product already shipped right after or

Well if you want to beat DHell at their own game you can call the shipping company once you get the tracking number and refuse delivery before it's delivered. Not only are you not having to call DHell for a return authorisation number and get hit with return shipping and restocking, but the carrier ...

Rocke, I wasn't meaning to add fuel to the fire. Granted no one should be called, "dumb." I was merely pointing out that part of the problem is that large numbers of people buy computers that have not even taken the necessary step to educate themselves about computers and how to use them. ...

When I last worked for DHell, and I can't imagine it has changed any, about half or more of my customers were buying computers because....... 1. the neighbour just bought a computer and they thought it was really neat. 2. they heard about teh Google from tv or techy friends and wanted to check it ou...

Add yet another city to the list that Mikey's used up and thrown away on his corporate quest to the bottom. To think that there are those who still believe that the American people need to bend over and give greedy corporations more tax cuts in order to offshore more jobs!

Mikey doesn't want to hire "quality" people, just rubber stamps. If he could, he'd just hire clones of himself.

Dell's mobile chief Ron Garriques is out

Ron Garriques, who has been leading Dell's mobile communications group ever since its formation a year ago, is leaving the company. Ron originally joined Dell in 2007, after a high profile career at Motorola, and has overseen a rather ambitious entry for the company into the phone industry. Now Dell...
