Dell complaints

I have been an actual dell employee for about 5 months now after my kiosk term as a spherion employee. I have had this happen time and time again. Dell cannot seem to pay me at the correct time. I am tired of hearing about the holiday bullshit, can't get it in on time, whatever. My territory manager told me I would be paid today on the 3rd and I was not. I called to ask why and they have no idea. I have a feeling I may just not go in until I get paid. Sorry for the long rant but if you work someplace, I feel you have the right and are under contract by signing up to work for them to be able to be paid on time when you are scheduled to. If there is anyone on here who has any advice or any way to help, I would appreciate it.

I am so close to just quiting it is rediculous. There is no reason to be treated the way our territory gets treated by our "new management." Way to fuck things up dell!

I wish I were able to offer you advice, unfortunately, I have no idea the procedure for that issue.
I know this problem happens with spherion employees quite often.

Update: I was just told by payroll yesterday, the 3rd that My moneys hould be there tomorrow the 4th. It is now the 4th and I am now being told 1 to 2 business days because of the holiday. I am glad everyone else enjoyed their extended holiday and received their money to do so, but as for me I had a horrible new years because I had no money to celebrate with. This has got to be the worst system of getting people payed I have ever seen. I am quitting today and will be contacting state officials in ohio and texas about this matter.

No more will I tolerate the lies of dell, unless some huge miracle is done and bill money late fee's is given.

Don't bother contacting Texas State Attorney General Greg Abbott (republican). He nor his office will not go after a company that gives generously to the GOP.

Here is an interesting update. So finally after I get paid in what took 2 hours instead of 3 days, I get a calla few days later from my "manager." He tells asks me if i have gotten paid after I had all the issues. I said yes I did and was curious as to why he would ask after he knew i had gotten apid already because he took care of it. Then he asked if I planned on quitting. I said no i did not. He said oh well I read on the internet that you did. I was like what, he said yeah i saw something ont he internet....... How he knew anything about em even thinking about quitting from dell is probably from this site. Aparently dell management checks this site, and it's even blocked form there intranet as "hate speech." So I would give this as a warning to anyone who posts whatever on this site. Dell does watch it and I hope it doesn't backfire on me. On what a shit storm I would raise if I ever found out I got canned for talking about their piss poor management on this site.

hey id have to agree with you there... spherion is just as bad!...as for managment seeing this oh well! what we do away from dell is of no concern to dell... i feel like im in "office space" for some reason... and we just fired milton! by the way ghostbusters called back! haha lata man!

I am also glad that you have finally been paid. I know it's tuff to go through today's economy with dell making it worse by not paying you when they say they will. Holiday or not I totally agree with you.

Have a nice stay with Hell, and enjoy the freedom when you are gone!
