Well yeah. Should I go to diversity training to accomodate a manager whose wife is withholding sex? Or demanding it?
Unless Mister Rainbow Suspenders went to HR and complained.
What I'd like explained, is how most people who do that get fired as troublemakers. And yet a FEW get coddled and make everyone else go to diversity training. _________________ Rocke T Sinetist

Why I Hate Dell's
They are slow
They crash alot
They are ugly
They are made cheaply
They piss me off every time I see one
They are desighned badly
They cant run anything decently
They are a waist of space
Not even a bum would accept one
They are noise
They have no decent parts
They have the worst keyboard I have ever seen
There responce time reminds me of a "Green Screen"
They can bearly run windows XP
I am greatly suprized that they can conect to a LAN network
The high speed internet seams like dile up on a dell
I would be greatly suprized if a dell could even play a MP3
I dont Think 3 GB of RAM could help a dell
They Are Boxy
Thay have religus issues
They seem to have the fine talent of runing your day
They take so log to start up becausae they crash 50 time befor windows boots up
They also have the talent of losing your work
They only have 1 good thing and that is that there is no need for an anti-virus because a virus could not even run on one

DELL SUCKS! They do not know how to take care of their employees. Dell is a disappointment! At first I was proud to work for Dell but now I'm just pissed. If only I'm not in need of a job, I'd leave. |

I hate Dell mainly because of how their ass-kissing head honchos treat the lowly production workers who do all the back breaking work for that
hellish company. In late February, I asked my group lead, David C Williams, if I could be moved from Build dept. as my hands & fingers were in constant pain and not only that, but an ache had started in my lower back on the right side. He refused to move me, telling me that I was 'assigned' to Build and basically had to stay there, if my production rates did not improve then...maybe manufacturing wasn't for me. The following week, I missed a day because my father had heart trouble that at first was mistaken for a heart attack. When I returned to work the very next afternoon, I was put on the probation line with trainer Clarence McNeil and team lead Waliyy Debnam, who both threatened those of us on that line with our 'walking papers' if we did not improve our production within a certain amount of time, which was not specified. I put in my 2 weeks' notice the next evening to David C Williams. Now I am having to file for disability due the problems I now have with my hands (every morning I wake up with my hands feeling numb and swollen) and back (the pain has yet to go away). I never had problems with my hands until I was placed in Build, and I feel that Dell management was wrong in not being more concerned when I told them of the pain I experienced from working there. Since I left, others have quit--or been fired for missing 'too many days'...fuck Dell/Hell. Those asswipes deserve all the shit the world throws at them. |

It doesn't surprise me in the least that Dell would work someone to pain. Granted I was not involved in the manufacturing area of the company, but the common theme in Dell is still universal. They will work you to the point of pain or exhaustion and then discard you for someone else.
They constantly whine about the churn in their company, yet never seem to take the time to do something about it. I understand that in today's society there's a heavy rally of "you did if for (them), why can't you do it for me too?", but still, on a one off basis they could reduce churn substantially if they actually took any time to give a shit.
Since we know that they do not now, nor will they ever give a shit, this kind of scenario will happen only too often. |

| All I can say is that good old Dell Inc is a heartless company. I was railroaded out of there after almost 10 years of loyal service to that place. I was not given a severance package or even given my remaining Vacation pay.I was placed on a completely bogus PIP back back in January and even though I was in the upper quartile of my support area, they still let me go even though the Performance Metrics changed during my PIP period. Complete and utter BS. 95% of the Dell Managers would have pulled back that PIP out of common decency at least in the Dell they I had started working for. Not now though. They're looking to cut people any way they can. I have complete empathy for my fellow compatriots still working there. |

I worked for Dell and when I say I hate Dell, I am not kidding.
I don't like the way people are walked. I think the termination process is arbitrary and inconsistent.
For example, I had a co-worker, GG, who swore at someone who had called in. She has a potty mouth to begin with and I am surprised since Dell has a no-swearing (at customers) policy. Another employee, one who was liked and was a good worker was walked for no discernible reason. A coach later said that person was walked due to their audit scores.
And another thing - those damn scoring metrics. Good people are walked if they don't make a certain number - never mind their good track record and work ethic.
Dell is for the birds. Buzzards, that is. _________________ Tuesday's Child |

| Good people get walked because their salaries are higher than those who are not good employees. The accountants have won the war - and we have lost. |
